Home > Articles > Delicious Turmeric LatteDelicious Turmeric Latte 25/07/2017 RecipesIngredients:1 cup milk or unsweetened almond/coconut milk1 heaped tablespoon turmuric root, peeled and grated (or 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric powder)1 teaspoon ground cinnamon1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, peeled and grated (or 1 teaspoon ground ginger)2 teaspoons coconut oil1 teaspoon vanilla extract3 cardamon podsHoney, stevia or other natural sweetener to tastePinch of black pepperPinch of cayenne pepper (optional) Method:Add milk to a small pot and gently heat, but do not boil.Add turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cardamon pods, vanilla and pepper. Mix and add coconut oil, stirring until its melted.Stir constantly for 3 minutes or until milk is warm, but again not boiling.Strain into a cup and stir in honey or other sweetener. Froth with a milk frother for a 2-3 seconds (or alternatively blend to form froth), sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
